Felicia Sullivan's volatile, beautiful, deceitful, drug-addicted mother disappeared on the night Sullivan graduated from college, and has not been seen or heard from in the ten years since. Sullivan, who grew up on the tough streets of Brooklyn in the 1980s, now looks back on her childhood—lived among drug dealers, users, and substitute fathers.

The Pink Project is a charity photography book documenting the color PINK as a unifying symbol that resonates the beauty, hope and strength within all of us. Participants from all walks of life were photographed in pink in support of two causes: breast cancer awareness and sexual assault awareness. Proceeds from the sales of the book go to RAINN: the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network, and LABCA: the Los Angeles Breast Cancer Alliance. The foreword of the book was written by singer/songwriter Tori Amos (co-founder of RAINN).
