Terry Graham discusses and signs Punk Like Me! liner notes for a revolution that almost happened (2nd Edition)
Punk Like Me! liner notes for a revolution that almost happened is Terry Graham’s irreverent, hilarious rollercoaster ride through the punk, rock, “DIY” cultural revolution in Los Angeles from 1977 through 1984. The author was the drummer for the seminal LA punk band The Bags and punk blues pioneers Gun Club (with guest appearances in The Cramps and Go-Go’s).
From post depression Texas where the author’s mother was born to the faded glory of Los Angeles in the 70’s, Graham weaves and bobs his way throughout a personal and cultural landscape in search of all things rock and roll. Using the work of many photographers and available memorabilia, the author has enriched the book with original artwork and graphic design and has laced his narrative with just enough sarcasm, poignant personal experience and elf-effacing humor to make Punk Like Me the best rock read of the year.
