Say Goodbye to Plastic absolves us of paralyzing guilt and offers easy practical tips that will add up to make a huge difference for our ocean environment. Her book encourages us to think "what one thing" can each of us do to eliminate plastic pollution. Refreshingly missing from this book are harsh judgements and insistence on an unobtainable, over-the-top strict, zero-waste lifestyle in which an entire family only produces one jar of waste every year. While inspiring, such lofty goals can sometimes lead to eco guilt, which can lead to inaction. We can all do at least one thing easily!" —Jo Fleming, Executive Director, California Green Business Network

After 12 years of tackling plastic pollution in our ocean, I know that the solution starts on land...and this book will show you how to make personal changes that can make a difference." —Emily Penn, founder of eXXpedition and SHiFT
