Ulin, editor of the new Library of America release Joan Didion: The 1980s & 90s, steers the conversation with Walter Mosley, whose latest Easy Rawlins novel is Black Grove, set in 1969 L.A., and Ron Brownstein, author of Rock Me on the Water: 1974-The Year Los Angeles Transformed Movies, Music, Television, and Politics.
