Elizabeth Bishop, former poet laureate of the United States, once wrote: “Being a poet is one of the unhealthier jobs--no regular hours, so many temptations!" We have decided to embrace the unhealthy job of being a poet, and have invited some local writers to come and share their work. Unhealthy Poetry is a fun event filled with junk food and cheap wine.
