The Well-Read Black Girl Book Club reads Zora Neale Hurston!

What better way to celebrate Black History Month than with newly released stories of the Harlem Renaissance from the Harlem Renaissance queen herself, Ms. Zora Neale Hurston. Join us as we celebrate her life and works on Sunday, February 9th at 4pm here at Book Soup! And if you feel inclined and would like to read a secondary title read Hurston's classic love story "Their Eyes Were Watching God" in honor of February also being a month of love!

Check out our other events with black women authors during the month of February: Tembi Locke is here on Tuesday, February 4th & in conversation with Attica Locke!  Layla F. Saad is here on Saturday, February 8th at 3pm!

Happy Reading!
